Parents

Some people say it's a parent's job to take care of their kid. Well, that is true. A parent's job is to keep their child safe, and to provide for their child. Parents go the extra mile by providing for us, and loving us unconditionally. It's very easy to take your parents for granted, and to sometimes forget how lucky you are to have them. Your parents make sacrifices for you daily, just to provide for you, and make sure you are happy. Of course, they are not going to throw that in your face, but I do think we should show just a little gratitude. Everytime you roll your eyes, or answer back, it hurts them.

My mom is so sweet, loving, and beautiful. I know my mom would be crushed if I were to answer her back, or roll my eyes. I am just so grateful to have her. I give my sympathy to those who are not as lucky. To those who are, I think it would be nice to show appreciation. Spend time with your parents; play a game with them, go shopping with them, or just tell them that you love them. Those words mean the world to a parent. For some reason, the thought of spending time with a parent, and showing them love is considered to be "immature." I have learned, you are never too old to show your parents love. I bought this shirt a while ago which says: " My mom is so cool." For a while, I was embarrassed to wear it in front of my friends. I thought they would think I was "uncool." But I know, my parents are worth it. I don't wake up every morning just to impress other people. I want to impress myself, and I want to feel good about myself, and not care what others say about it. Wearing that shirt makes me feel so happy. If anybody ever gives you trouble, ignore them. They are just insecure idiots who prefer to find faults in other people, instead of fixing their own. Although we may disagree with our parents sometimes, which is okay, we still need to show them the same unconditional love, and respect they show us.

  1. I agree that people take having parents for granted way too much!
